  Firstly as I was travelling with a friend - it was far more comfortable for us to have an apartment with a bedroom/bathroom each and enjoy the larger lounge area together and cook if we wanted to in our kitchen. Far more cost effective than 2 small rooms in a big Hotel! We walked with ease - Deceiving at first as the door to my room was off one of the carpark levels (I was only on level 2). But open the door to a wonderful surprise - a huge long apartment with good bed, full size dining table, full size fridge, oven, cooktop, smallish lounge area with decent size tv and a large outdoor patio area with dining set and sliding doors to block out the nearby traffic.

  I liked the closeness to the city, the restaurants and cafes. I loved my room. The facilities were tremendous for the size of the room. Kitchenette, wardrobe, microwave etc etc. The bathroom was perfect. The staff were helpful. Check in and early leaving was easily arranged. The room was very clean. The staff were friendly with great attitude. The room was small but the bed was great. We didn't go to hide in the room, just sleep there at night. We would definitely stay again!

  the Staff were super efficient, we mentioned the TV in the bedroom didn't work. Next morning a brand new one was installed and set up for all channels. They had the new towels we asked for,ready for us when we got back late at night, and helped at every opportunity. couldn't fault them.   We had a 2 bedroom apartment and it was lovely, it had ever thing you needed. Loved the separate bedroom, lounge/kitchen/dining area, and it had its own balcony. It was in the greatest location, walking distant to every-where. The staff were all nice and most helpful, on asking they let us have a late checkout for no extra cost, can't ask - Location to Cbd & public transport ideal. The staff are all friendly & helpful in every way. Being self contained was excellent and kept dining costs down, especially when staying with children who only need toast or cereal for breakfasts & a simple sandwich for lunches. Would stay again & every time when in Brisbane.

  This was my second stay at Astor Apartments and I intend many more. The location is superb for travellers with out a vehicle as it is so close to Central Train Station, the CBD, South Bank and bus departure stations. The Astor Apartments provide excellent, well presented accommodation and apartments have everything you need for a great stay. The apartment key & room allocated was well arranged and easy to access & directly to our room. In general, the apartment is really well managed.

  Hotel is in a central position, staff were welcoming and friendly from check in. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Rooms whilst on the small side are simply decorated, all the essentials of bar fridge, tea & coffee included, plus a microwave oven.
