Peppers Salt Resort & Spa is a luxurious beachside resort situated on Kingscliff’s stunning Ocean Beach. It features tennis courts, a tropical swimming pool and a large lagoon pool. For entertainment there are a variety of in-room movies and broadband or WiFi access is available. All air-conditioned rooms include a private balcony with outdoor furniture, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, an iPod dock or CD player, a minibar, a refrigerator and ironing facilities. All suites also include a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The Spa At Salt features a steam room, spa bath and a range of massage, facial and body treatments for men and women. Guests can also take a dip at Kingscliff Beach. Season Restaurant serves breakfast, dinner and cocktails. It offers a diverse menu based on seasonal produce. There are also a number of restaurants within 3 minutes’ walking distance. Peppers Salt Resort is just a 20-minute drive from Gold Coast Airport. We are in the hospitality industry ourselves so were looking for a short getaway. we thought it was great value for money very friendly staff including the house staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the Seasons,especially the pork beey entree and your lovely sweedish waitress.Coming from the Brisbane area the under 2 hour trip to Kingscliffe was great for a short getaway. We really enjoyed having a room that was peaceful and well cared for. We enjoyed the clean environment and the ability to walk to any shops without having to use transport. We loved the warm pool and the various services offered (pool service, breakfast, clean towels). The staff were professional (could be a little more friendly).
alle beoordelingen » I stayed for four nights in a nice one bedroom apartment looking out over the large lagoon pool. The breakfast was very good and the whole resort was very comfortable and relaxing. Easy walk to the (very nice) beach, which was always patrolled. Nice modern finish to the apartment. Staff were friendly and professional the rooms were well stocked for an enjoyable experience Down to free movies and pillows ranging in size and softness to suit all paties. It is often the little finishing touches that make a memorable stay. Super friendly and helpful staff. Everything you need is within walking distance, park, patrolled beach, restaurant, kid friendly pub / bistro. Beautiful big lagoon style pool, great for kids. The included breakfast was brilliant. Great location and excellent accommodation. The beds are so comfortable and presentation of the rooms and resort is excellent. Buffet breakfast was very good too. Restaurant menu looked nice although we didn't get to try. Not having to use passcards for all lifts etc doors made life easier. Reception were helpful. Proximity to beach. Privacy of rooms. Free movies. Vicinity to nice restaurants. Proximity to Byron bay. Underground parking. Good checkout time. Loved the pool and how everything is clean, modern and enough space in our apartment. We also enjoyed the unlimited free movie selection. Location as didn't have to drive anywhere, lovely rooms, service, attention to detail, free movies in room. Oh and the day spa!. Everything about the resort was pleasing. The room was lovely, the pool areas were fabulous and the food at Seasons was great. Liked the upgrade to one bedroom, the breakfast, the free movies, the kitchen and laundry facility in the suite. The 1 bedroom apartment was well equipped for self catering and the design roomy. The breakfast buffet was good and could keep you going all day. The staff where very polite and helpful. Nothing to not like. There was nothing we felt was unacceptable. It would have been great to have pool service at the smaller pool (cocktails, snacks, etc.). In my apartment, the cable tv didn't have a very good reception (was snowy) and the movies had no sound. This wasn't so bad for me because I didn't want to waste my holiday watching TV anyway. A bit of a distance between the car park and the room. It seemed like it would be very busy at peak times. Nothing. Rooms were a bit small with no space to sit. And the double doors are awkward. And having the internal garage doors closed meant we had to make double lift trip & walk to get to car. And bing told there was a 40 min for dinner in restuarant was very disappointing and meant we had to go elsewhere. Rusty rubbish bins. Low pressure shower head. Cold plunge pool. I rang to confirm if they provide toothbrush and they said they do but infact they don't, made our trip that little unpleasant. Otherwise not really... But just to be picky... If they could include espresso coffee in their buffet breakfast menu. So many small children staying there and crowded and noisy breakfast buffet. Nothing. Need better information. Not enough info on how to operate TV. Did not know that two coffee pods were complimentary. Nothing. Did not like the room entry, that had a single door to 2 rooms. Constant noisy door closing was unavoidable and disruptive of sleep. Dvd player not working first night as it had faulty cable. our room looked out to the main road - it was okay but we had nothing exciting to look at, but the room was great so you put up with little things as the view. Queuing for breakfast and the noise in the restaurant at breakfast. The bin in the bathroom was pockmarked with rust. Pool was crowded. Our room was left unlocked after servicing one morning with the door not properly closed. The pool area needs more umbrella for sun protection. Finding the rooms not so simple. The drain smell that left a constant unpleasant smell in our rooms, not nice at all. Furniture getting tired. Cushions and decor hasn't changed since our last stay over 3 years ago. didn't have a bath in room. Room service pizza not flash Pool should be heated in June. It used to be!. Both our room keys failed a few times and locked us out of our room. Not sure what this what caused by. Reception always fixed it on the spot. No stairs - only lifts Some public areas dirty. No wi fi in room - needed for study and business - not as convenient in reception. We ordered a cheese platter for our room but it was very poor quality. It had obviously been in the fridge for a long while before delivery and condensation under the glad wrap had made the nuts, dried fruit and undersides of the cheese soggy and inedible. It cost $29 but its value was negligible. Very poor and it would qualify my recommendations as per question 5 below as I would recommend the resort but not the food. The view of people houses. Not long enough!. small rooms not enough choice food for snacks in village. Coffee very expensive Too many kids in the pool Not enough pool lounges. Room could be more clean. No fish for breakfast on good Friday. There was nothing I didn't like at my stay. Inability to get a lounge by the pool. I wonder if people put towels or sunhats on the shaded seats early in the day....I tried for 4 hours. Wonder what it would be like after Christmas when possibly even more people????. Unfortunately it was bad weather during our stay, but we found the walkways windy, wet and not very comfortable. Room was small and not terribly functional. Coathangers were wider than the wardrobe and clothes kept on getting caught everytime it was opened. For the money I think it is only fair. We were given a disabled room without being advised prior to arriving into our room. Silverfish in shower and then found holes in T-shirt. The fridges need to be updated as the seal on ours didn't seal very well, we had to push it hard to close properly. The food at the restaurant "Seasons" was very busy , lots of conflicting tastes. Far too expensive for what you get. Cold spa, lack of services for children, teenagers - no where for teenager to even buy a drink or milkshake as only 1 licenced bar in resort near pool. The toilet paper. I asked for a quite room , that's all I wanted . I got a room with a very loud fan 2 metres from the bed & a very loud persistent dripping down pipe . These 2 issues wrecked my stay. Give me a quiet room , not hard ???. I was disappointed with our room situation which overlooked the road. We would have liked to look over the pool. Another small matter was there were no tissues supplied in the room, which I thought would be a basic item. The room was small and did not have a bath. There were no robes to walk to the pool in. The beach towels were very small. Didnt like having to wait for a table at breakfast and the noise at the restaurant was very loud.
