We stated in the motel. While an older style motel we got a very big room and very comfortable surrounds. Service on check in was excellent with advice about delivery of meals from external restaurant welcome as we didn't wish to go out. Plenty of parking although access from the street was a little inconvenient as it is a split one way street which required a U turn. The place was good value for money.
alle beoordelingen » Situated in the midway of thr slope, it js close to city center and yet won't be noisy. The room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed staying in here. There was a funny cute fat cat accompanying us when we check out. The cat didn't let us walk ahead of it, so funny. Older style bed and breakfast with a motel accommodation .We were in the B@B with a very big room and bathroom and kitchenette. Nice walk into the CBD. Cheaper to stay here than a city hotel. Plenty of parking,. Large room, helpful staff - supplied us with crockery and cutlery for in-room breakfast bought outside. security - mesh grille over window so it could be safely left open at night (ground floor). the comfort and the space in the room. the room was so quiet insulated from the street noise. the whole look of the place history and modern all in the same place. It is 18th century Victoria style hotel, we got a Dervent Suite to adapt for 5 adults, the view of Derwent Estutary, location is perfect, very quite and peaceful!. Room was spacious and comfortable warm and charm. Cleanliness. Owners took pride in their service. Friendly staff Quiet location. Good parking Good breakfast If 3 people had been sharing the room (I was on my own) it would have been excellent value. Hills quite steep around the area which really precluded walking locally. No lift so we need to drag our big luggage up to our room. Perhaps no breakfast room. You eat in your room. the heater was strange. Furnishings were tired. Had difficulty with light switches. Limited local facilities, but the near-by Italian Restaurant (above a takeaway!) was excellent. Not many options nearby for a meal if walking, however breakfast was available at an extra cost. Hotel is uphill! You need to be good on your feed or have a car, not to close to city. a Bit dirty on some corners, hairs in the whirlpool.staff sometimes a bit confused,don't know how to do thinks, booked us on a wrong shuttle etc. A bit retro. room was a little cold. No teaspoons and tea towel not replaced. The location is in a difficult to get to part of the street; the night manager charged my credit card without my permission even after the day manager said this would not occur; I was charged the commission for letsbookhotel.com on top of my tariff. VHS is offered as extra ; foxtel reception was poor. heating can be better. A bit dated , but clean. not good location. it located too much up the hill. no lift and no staff for helping to carry bags to upstairs room bed bugs...so we use our own liner.
