location is excellent as well as the overall facilities, except the swimming pool which was disappointing...for such a large resort expected something more modern and relaxing. golf course and main reception areas excellent. staff were also responsive and very friendly and overall experience and offers near by like the spa was fantastic, a very relaxing retreat. The room was lovely and the bed really comfy. Not hard like so many accommodations. The staff were very helpful.

Location and quiteness. Check in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were polite, friendly and obliging. We ate in the Bar where the meals were really good value for money. food was good at restaurant staff friendly & helpful. Easy to book ,modern rooms staff accommodating. The room was very nice. The staff were lovely. Close to springs. The cleanliness was not great as well as the kitchen utensils ie mix mash of glassware, no tea tails, used dish cloth and no platters for cheese/snacks. also the beds were not very comfortable and overall room felt it had a quick clean. Tables and chairs on the balcony also very old. so room basically seemed dated and needs some updating, however size and overall comfort was fine, just wouldnt compare to luxury of a 5-star in the city at the same price. coffee and sugar was not replenished and there was quite a lot of dust under heating bank in the bathroom. Pool was not appealing. Nothing!. The Facilities are very dated. We were in a group consisting 3 couples, all in our 40's. We ordered a round of shots which was frowned upon by one of the bar staff,(go figure). Later on when we all wanted another round of shots we were told that the first round was a one off and that "this isn't a Nightclub.(are you serious) I'm sure if I was a golf club member, any number of shots would have been ok. My point being that we are responsible adults. room looked much smaller than on internet and older. needs freshning up. fridge kept us awake. Room had not been cleaned properly after the previous guests. the restaurant was very slow and food not up to standard. The room was too dark, not cleaned properly and the place is just for golfers not really for a couple staying in a hotel. Ran out of hot water after 5 minutes ... Cigarette butts left in ashtray from previous occupants (no smoking room) staff polite but unhelpful. Room was dirty, air con did not work properly, generally felt run down, indifferent staff, for the price very poor value for money.
