  Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe.   The reception staff is the best. I forgot her name but she was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. Made sure I never missed anything including the pick up taxi even though she wasn't on duty. The pool is well maintained bui didn't have enough time for it. I saw families catching fun. Very close to cbd. Rooms were maintained daily with fresh towels as required. It had a pool for relaxation. I look forward to returning in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

  Loved teh new part, but next time we want to stay on a ground floor apartment of the new lagoon area. Our Kids really enjoyed it.   The proprietors were outstanding. We arrived having lost the use of our credit card as it had been cancelled due to online fraud. Our debit card turned out to be out of date. We were in the embarrassing situation of not being able to pay short of doing a direct bank transfer. The owner said "don't worry, when you get back to Tasmania, get in touch... wat mensen zeggen » with us and let us know your new credit card number". He showed amazing trust. He also promptly phoned the taxi company to ensure we would not miss o - Great room with fridge so you can prepare your own meals if on a budget! Staff were fantastic, knowledgeable about the area, helped us plan where to go, which buses to get and even helped us with setting up an Australian mobile (this was our first stop of our year in Australia)... 5 star service couldn't have asked for better hosts! Right near airport ($20 taxi to and from airport) Not much within walking distance but bus stops right outside the hotel and the staff are more than happy to help w

  The Darwin Central Hotel is perfectly situated, close to retaurants, tourist venues and public transportantion. My room was clean, quiet, attractive, and well-air-conditioned. The breakfast was wonderful each morning. In particular, the hotel front desk staff was superb. We stayed there the first night of our trip after arriving in Darwin, but decided to stay a night longer as we liked it so much. Highly recommended!
