  Friendly family business operating an older, comfortable facility at a good price with proximity to Cronulla mall and beach area; comfortable mattresses; sound insulation (very little interior and neighbouring noise); generous parking; efficient air-condtioner - The staff could not do enough to help us.   We are from Italy, and we traveled to Australia for a long reportage. We stayed 2 days in Cronulla at Guesthouse 83 and we enjoy the stop. When we arrived we met Mr Kevin, caretaker at the Guesthouse and he was very kind with us. At our arrival the chef was cooking pasta, she was afriad of our italian origin. But no worries, the pasta was perfect!!! At Guesthouse83 ther - I booked Guesthouse 83 for my husband to stay at while he was doing weekend courses in Gymea & Caringbah. All up he has stayed there about 7 times. I originally chose Guesthouse 83 because it was cheap and in close proximity to the training venues, however even when other well priced options came up in future weeks, we decided to stick with Guesthouse 83 because the staff were so friendly and accommodating, booking was so easy, and breakfast and dinner were provided.
