  We loved how close everything was and the park was a hit with or children. There was plenty of room inside when it rained, so the kids didn't climb the wall. The beach was picture perfect, can't comment enough on the villa and the location. LOVED IT - Absolutely loved the grounds, the room facilities were great, the pools awesome.   Location is great. Walk past the restaurant to a terrific beach, good for kids at the south end, surf fishing at the north. Ambience amongst nature is sensational and the layout beautiful. We had a spa room and enjoyed that under the glass ceiling at night very much. Heaps to waste your time with and a sensational child friendly pool complex. Not ... wat mensen zeggen » so much for toddlers I think. Already spoken to family and we will return!! Try the coastal walk at the south end of the beach, it leads to a long sur - Very helpful staff. The location with access to the beach was a great surprise and we loved sitting in the garden bar with beach views. The whole set up with rainforesty walks to get around made for a really great atmosphere/ambiance. The meal we had on site was excellent. Would definitely go back.

  The reception was excellent, very friendly and helpful, explained the best places to have a meal, and the localities of same. My wife and I travelled to Coffs Harbour for Medical Specialist reasons, will have to return early in June so will stay at the Hawaiian Sands again if there is a vacancy - The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had ... wat mensen zeggen » everything we needed for our overnight stay on a budget. The pub across the road did indeed have great value meals and live music and the owner, Mel, was lovely to deal with. Would stay here again.

  The whole weekend was excellent. My negative comment was of one staff member, who probably needs a bit of retraining. However the staff were great considering the storm that had ensued not long after our arrival. Staff could have been concerned about personal property and they still kept a smile and courteous attitude during their task at hand. I am still buzzing from the - I partciularly was extremely imporessed by the night receptionist Nathan. I also stayed there Christmas eve and the day after and he was on duty on both occasions. So helpful was he that I intended to write a letter to the managemant extolling our praise.You are fortunate to have him and youir other staff members were helpful as well. Please pass on my thanks to Nathan. Also has good facilities, including the pool and closness to the beach if required.
