  The service given to us and the comfort whilst staying was fantastic plus the added bonus was the reception held for my sons wedding was excellent for the service, food, and care given to all whom attended. - For $170 it was great value!   We all loved staying at the Mecure Canberra. I booked several rooms for a family trip for 3 nights. They kindly upgraded our rooms when we arrived. It's where old meets modern. One of the rooms was a two level, two bedroom apartment! Really practical for when you have kids in the group. Staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and our room had ... wat mensen zeggen » an apartment feel as we had an outdoor decking so we didn't feel like we were locked in a hotel. It was all too easy! We will definitely stay there ag - Lovely large room with 2 queen beds in the older part of the hotel (not sure if it was an upgrade). Luckily we had a ground floor room, as there were no lifts. Small but adequate bathroom. The hotel offers good facilities - comfy lounge and bar areas, heaps of parking and helpful staff. The location is excellent with easy access to the city via bus. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and to the War Memorial.
