  We stayed in one of the hotel rooms. It was very spacious. The shower was awesome, better than our own at home. They use tank water for the toilets, which is nice to see. The guy in charge even warned us that the penguin tours werent seeing many pengiuns, just in case we were thinking of booking in. He gave us tips on other locations we might find... wat mensen zeggen » just as many on our own. The motel rooms overlook the little canoe lake, so it was a great setting to sit out on the deck and drink wine and eat chee - Location was fabulous.Walking distance to everything. Great little town with wonderful foodie stores, restaurants, surfy/ beach/ designer stores. Beaches are gobsmackingly beautiful and pristine. It was a treat seeing the wildlife around the grounds up close and, toasting marshmallows around the fire pit at dusk awaiting the penguins coming ashore was a delight. Accommodation was large, clean and well appointed.welcoming helpful staff too. Would return.

  There was a confusion regarding a spa room and we were upgraded with no problems as soon as we discovered mistake. We also had another issue which the owner/manager sorted out straight away with not a problem. We were very impressed. Accomodation was comfortable. Pengiun's were so cute. - Good facilities/environment; resort room is nice, spacious... wat mensen zeggen » & comfortable. Most spectacular is the penguin night-view, for which the resort staff is very kind to light up the penguin walking path so can have a fairly close view of penguin go-home scene. Highly recommended.

  Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. A great welcome from Kath began our stay. Everything was well thought out and catered for. It was beautifully clean and tastefully furnished.The views and location were stunning. The Wallabies came on the veranda in the evening which was a lovely addition. We cannot praise it more highly. The views are spectacular and your front door step is a nature lovers dream - wallabies, all sorts of birds and, if you are lucky, a whale passing along the coast. The Freycinet peninsula and the Penguin tour are must dos.

  For the price we were expecting pretty gardens but an ordinary room. Instead we got gorgeous gardens, a fantastic room with posh facilities that were comfortable and clean and a jug of fresh milk as well as a fantastic cooked breakfast for only $6!!!! At the end of the street was the ocean and the spot where the fairy penguins nest so at dusk we got to see lots of th - The friendly and helpful reception we received and the proprietors local knowledge which resulted in us having one of the best meals of our trip! The location was very good : a very short drive from the motel to the centre. Had we not had torrential rain, we would have had chance to explore on foot in which case the location score may well have been an excellent! My husband had the cooked breakfast which was very good and excellent value for money.
