  Great facilities and size of room. Stayed for one night and was greeted on arrival warmly. On check out I was greeted by the lady at the desk using my first name brfore i even gave my details. Nice touch :-) - Sandpiper is a very clean, quite, warm and comfortable motel in a lovely setting surrounded by native garden, staff helpful and friendly, ... wat mensen zeggen » we would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.

  Great hostel. Friendly staff. Very clean and great kitchen facilities. It felt like you were staying "at home". Would certainly recommend staying here. - I like EVERYTHING there - quiet, clean, comfy, friendly boss, eco surroundings - simply awesome (Thumbs UP)

  The place is very clean and cosy. James from the motel is very friendly and helpful in giving us recommendations on what to see and eat around the area. Before arriving in Melbourne, I had wanted to make some changes to our Great Ocean Road drive and cancel our stay at Apollo Bay and head straight to Port Campbell. We booked in the very last minute, in a try to ensure good weather for the trip, and actually, we did it right, not only with the weather, but with our choice for stay one night. The staff was friendly, talkative and extremely attentive. They actually contacted us before our arrival, in order to check if one of our special requests would fit their accommodation type.   I loved how every morning just before sunrise, we would open up the curtains and you could hear and see the ocean and the waves breaking before you. You're just outside of all the shops and other hotels so this gives you a sense of privacy. Great size unit for a couple with magnificent views of the beautiful ocean which was both relaxing and breathtaking and a real getaway from city life. Great value for money! Definitely would stay again.

  The spa was a great (very big) and the room was very spacious. I liked the little balcony area too. They had free private parking and it was only a few minutes walk to the main shops and restaurants.   We enjoyed the location. It was very quiet and peaceful. Great ocean view. Great place to sit out on the patio and look at the stars. The bedspread was very clean....I noticed a few bedspreads hanging on the clothes line. I appreciated that it was eco-friendly and the fresh laundry smell. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They off... wat mensen zeggen » ered to give us tips on what to see and do in the area, but unfortunately we were only there for one night so we didn't get a chance to explore the ar - we upgraded to the apartment and it was the best stay with all the modern cons you could ask for. The beds were comfy and the pot belly stove was very welcome on a cold winters day, it truly was the best stay we had.
