A lovely retro-styled hotel,excellent location if you are flying out of the Gold Coast airport (the room fee includes a free airport transfer). Also very good when coming off a late night flight - there are always cheap supplies in the room (noodles, cup-a-soups, hot water jug), great if you are coming off a 1 am flight! As we were heading off to the airport early next morning this motel was ideally situated for us, being close to public transport from Brisbane and a few minutes walk from the airport.
Comfortable facilities, not extravagant, but more than adequate for travellers.

This was my second time in the last few weeks staying at Golden Shores and like the first stay it did not disappoint. It's proximity to everything(beach, airport & some good restaurants) is excellent as well as spotless comfortable rooms. It is all that you need for a short, well priced stay.

Our one bedroom was perfect, very clean and everything if we wanted to cook a meal. The bed was nice and firm and the shower was very good.

We loved the location and the spaciousness of the penthouse perfect for my birthday party. The decor of our apartment had been updated so it was a very nice modern 3.5star. We had the bottom floor which was handy to the pool for the kids.

The lady that owns and runs this motel was fabulous. She called me on the morning that I was arriving to see if I needed to be picked up from the airport! Went to see a show at Twin Towns and decided to try this motel which is half the price of Outrigger and was excellent value for money. The bed was so comfortable (and I'm very fussy when it comes to beds) and the position just perfect. Will always book this motel from now on.Also much better views of the ocean than Outrigger Twin Towns. -

Pool looked good but the weather stopped us using it.

Friendly staff made very welcome. No extra charges for rubbish removal or having your room serviced. Clean smelt fresh. Having arm chairs with footstools to sit in. -
The owners were very friendly, the location is ideal for all ages and interests and the cleanliness of the rooms was the best I had seen for quite a while.
