  We had a private room and it was REALLY private - not like in other hostels where you share a paper wall with neighbours. The hostel looks a little like a motel but it is clean and peacfull and on the main street. Staff is really well informed and they book tours for you. - Was only there for one night after my Whitsundays trip but nice staff, gr... wat mensen zeggen » eat location just across from the lovely beach, quiet but also where the nightlife is should you want it.   They were great! We had an unplanned late arrival and I had been unable to call to warn them. When we arrived they were closed and I was terrified that we would have a problem. But they had gone ahead and left our key and booking taped to the window. Amazing! I was so thrilled. Our little cabin was the right amount of space and very well equi... wat mensen zeggen » pped. Made dinner there one night and was impressed with the dishes and cooking tools provided. The bathroom is a bath house, but we were just acros - The location was awesome and with in short walking distance to public transport. The staff were extremely helpful and happy to assist in anyway they could.

  The semi-private kitchen in the cabin was very convenient. The whole cabin was clean and we had nice advices from the staff to book a day tour to the whitsundays islands. The boardwalk to the lagoon was very nice. - Friendly family-run property. They were very helpful and helped us to book a great deal on a trip to the Whitsundays last minute.   Everything is close. The backpacker is more like a villa. Stayed in a double room, was very good and spacious. There's a calm bar inside. Left my bag there after check out without problem. - The hostel was very clean and spacious. We were on an 8 bed dorm and it was fantastic with great facilities.
