  The hotel surprised me in a positive way. One day before our arrival, I received an email from the staff asking what time we would arrive and placing himself at the disposal. We arrived late at night but the front desk was very attentive. The rooms are enormous and decorated with elegance.   We booked 2 nights and ended up staying an extra night. We are not big soccer fans but booked tickets to a game at the Boca Stadium on 24 May and wanted to stay at the hotel to have the full Boca experience (why not?).   I really love this hotel situated smack downtown in the city center (microcentro) and have stayed there several times and will be back again. Reception staff and attention you get from them is really wonderful, thanks Gaston, Andrés and Leandro. Nice brakfast buffet. - The building and the common areas are very charming, filled with antiques. The breakfast was good and the staff was really helpful. The location is perfect, right in the center, so you can easily reach most points of interest, and there's a subway station right in front of the building.

  Even though we had a reservation and a confirmation with Booking,com, the very cordial person (not) at the desk said he had no reservation for us. Evidently, he finally did check with letsbookhotel.com and said he had it - but not until after being nasty upon arrival.
