  Accommodation was more than adequate. We were sharing with daughter and son-in-law and we were pleased with the space and equipment (except kitchen equipment - see below). Having breakfast delivered daily at or about the time specified was a real bonus.   Gabriel, the host, was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel and rooms were decorated with a lot of taste. The hotel was located near the bird reserve and lake. It was very peaceful to stay at this hotel. The hotel has a restaurant that serves specialities from Patagonia. You have to pay the hotel in cash in order avoiding 10% in more but this is an information you know as soon as you reserve and they remind it to yo - Staying at Cauquenes de Nimez was one of the best travel experiences we ever had. It is not a place for those looking for luxury, but instead you will find a great staff that will make their best to make you feel like you are at home. Have a free cup of tea at 6 o'clock looking at the birds flying over the Nimez laguna and waking up with the birds singing is really fantastic. Located only 15 minutes-walk away from the center of the city. Thanks Sr. Gabriel and the team for the great hospitality

  Very much liked the hospitality of Analia and Adrian who were supporting us in organizing and recommending trips around El Calafate. Very friendly and lovely people! The staff there were wonderful and extremely helpful, even packing our breakfast to go each morning because we were going on early tours. Highly recommend this hotel.
