  This is hostel/hotel, but with the hotel room you wouldn't feel like you were in a hostel. Hotel rooms are all en suite and very spacious and clean with aircon and the best hot powerful shower! Near to the main city centre, just a few stops away on the train line. Palermo is a good 30 mins by taxi away - I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!

  We stayed in Hotelmo which is next store to the Mantengase hotel, they offered private rooms with private bathroom. Everything was fantastic from the location, service, the owners of the complex are very very accommodating. Even though we couldnt speak a word of spanish and they couldnt speak a word of english, they bent over backwards to assist ... wat mensen zeggen » us. Breakfast was really good with good quality pastries, great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. They even gave us a transport card to use d - The hostel is very well located, close to some important points of the city or with easy access to buses. We stayed in the double room, the decoration is nice, detailed chosen and with colors... The people that received us at the hotel treated us as their family, caring if we had everything... the breakfast was good too... the front house, where we were having the breakfast, has turtles, dogs and a funny parrot, what made the experience even better for us... I highly recommend!

The room was impeccable and clean with a very nice bathroom with antique faucets , sinks and tub but all worke - I stayed at this hotel after a 10 day hikking trip with a friend. It was perfect for our needs. Great location in the heart of San Telmo, my friend had described the area as being like Fitzroy in Melbourne Australia, and this was just what it was like. An interesting area with great bars and plenty of great places to eat. The staff are exceptional and very friendly, knowledgable with good English.   I liked everything about this hotel! I stayed here for about a week. I have been travelling for 6 months now and this is the best one I have found - comfortable, peaceful, decent sized rooms, great location (San Telmo - short walk to Plaza Dorrego, next to a metro stop). Breakfast is nice! They bake cakes every day!
