Having read the reviews, our expectations were quite high. On arrival, reception staff were polite, friendly and very helpful (later, we were to experience the same attitude from all staff during our three day stay).Then we saw the apartment! Wow! It was HUGE, very well appointed and absolutely spotless.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with our friends for 3 nights. The accommodation was superb as were the staff who were polite and helpful. Food quality at breakfast and evening were superb. With an outdoor swimming pool and access to gym, Jacuzzi and steam room the facilities were perfect for a wind down break before we flew home. We would recommend Norfolk Mansions to you all. Good location with nearby local restaurants and markets.

The room was very comfortable with a great bed. The staff were friendly and helpful and the tour operator on site was also very helpful. The breakfast and high teas were terrific and always the food was made fresh. We could walk easily from the hotel to the centre of town, but taxis are always available as well. Certainly recommend hotel for others and for any future stay.

Great location and good service from staff. - Very helpful, friendly staff (Asian people are far more customer friendly than the UK and really can't do enough for you). Most had good English language skills. Fantastic central location.

The staff did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The
security was 100% and the hotel was very clean.The swimming pool is a
big bonus as not many (if any) 3 star hotels have that facility. And
even though it is rather small it is a huge bonus in the hot sticky
weather. The room staff were very thorough and very friendly.All in all
the staff make the hotel what it is.

I like the old world charm and heritage and stately feel of the ancient
wing. The beds were very comfortable and my family had a sound sleep. I
appreciated the shoe shine service, especially after visiting the Cuci
tunnels! The breakfast was of plentiful variety and of good taste. The

The staff were wonderful, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and were provided with beautiful flowers and chocolates on arrival. Breakfast and other meals we ate at the hotel were delicious. Our room was beautiful and overlooked the river and the sea of traffic in the street below. We could not recommend The Majestic more highly. It was exceptional.

We rented the 3 bedroom suite. It was very spacious and comfortable,
with 3 bathrooms and a full kitchen. The complex also has a huge, clean
swimming pool which we enjoyed as often as possible. The inhouse travel
agent arranged some amazing day trips for us on the Mekong.

They lost our booking when we came to check in. They only had one room free and that was the royal suite which was double the price. I called to complain to letsbookhotel.com and that helped. They gave us the royal room on the top floor to a normal roomprice. Such a nice room with a great view. Poolarea was perfect with sun all day. good location. In generel a really nice hotel. worth the money
