For a so called 2 star place it suited my friend and I to a tee. It was quiet, warm, comfortable and a short drive to breakfast, the slopes and to excellent restaraunts. I would certainly stay there again when we come to ski at Whiteface Mt. For the money, an excellent place to lay your head. I loved the knotty pine and Adirondack furniture. The place was very clean and relatively quite. I also liked the outside things to do...miniature gold, picnic area, nature walks etc. I was very pleased with everything.

Lovely resort and would stay again. Laundry on site was a HUGE plus. We were able to wash/dry our clothes Saturday and wear again for a Monday hike. Did not see any laundromats in the area. cleanliness, comfort, nice atmosphere, convenience, friendly staff. Perfect location for my brother and I, spending most of the days trout fishing. The room was very nice we were there for my finances birthday weekend mainly to relax take in the sights and fish all were fantastic. Simple pleasant room that was clean and comfortable. Nice to be able to have coffee and a bite in the morning. Great location for events and attractions. Very good restaurants even walking distance from motel. Clean, cute, comfortable, newly remodeled room, budget friendly, good location, nice owners. The rooms where very nice and clean and the view was amazing. Great place to relax. Rooms were large and comfortable. Very convenient to trails and Lake Placid. I loved the knotty pine everything -- close to hiking and site seeing. Room decor. Friendly staff. On-site store. Close location to Lake Placid. HDTV. Continental breakfast is offered. Location was absolutely awesome. Very cute and friendly feeling. Clean & reasonably prices. Very clean and well kept. Cute and Cozy. Everything. We had a large room with 2 queen beds and still had plenty of room for our things. Large bathroom was very nice. Nothing. The bed was a bit firmer than I was used to, but everything else was awesome. Overheated (mid winter) but cracking the window helped a lot. Locked unheated pool needs some TLC. no problems at all...would stay again. would prefer a king bed. Constant knocking in wall. Heat in room wouldn't cool down. No problems. Family business, so there is not 24 hour service. But the owner left his cell phone # for emergencies. Nothing. It had a good size walk in closet but had no light. Also didn't have a stand to put our luggage on.
