The staff was friendly and nice, the rooms was clean, enough space for two in A king size room. View of the ocean from room was great. Location was perfect. Bed was comfortable and felt well after A nights sleep. Bathroom was clean. Housekeeping came through each day to clean room and bring clean towels and wash cloths . It was really A good choice in picking this hotel. I will gladly stay here again.

I enjoyed the view from my room on the 8th floor.
There was a DVD player in the room and a nice size (36 inch?) LG flat screen TV. Since the weather didn't cooperate we were able to rent movies and watch them in our room using the DVD player.

The location was perfect,beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Nice to be able to sit on the balcony and relax. Staff was great!!! A super idea to be able to have a choice of several cold drinks,coffee or tea any time in the lobby. The buffet breakfast that is offered in Pier 14 was very tasty---a big variety to choose from everyday. So glad we picked this hotel to stay in. Anytime we are back in Virginia Beach I would definitely stay again.

Staff was so friendly and nice! After having to speak with a lady supervisor on the elevator asked me how was my visit with Wyndham. I told her that I was not to happy at the moment. We discuss. She immediately took care of the problem and issues that I was having with the Lights going out in my room. I would like to reckconize that lady and let

The hotel restaurant was fabulous. Service was excellent, the wine list
was excellent, the food was excellent, and the price was right.
Generally, staff was friendly and attentive. Nice tv, wi-fi, microwave,
refrigerator and an oceanfront room for a very affordable price during
beach season. Location makes for an uncrowded beach!

We liked the helpfulness of the staff & the location . The room was very comfortable and the Empyrian Club was nice. -
Sky pool and hot tub, location and cleanliness of the hotel. Also, the grand entrance area was pretty cool.

I liked the location. Close to comerce, shopping and attractions. So close to every thing within walking distance. The problem I experince was parking, The hotel do provide parking at a public high rise garage across the street from the hotel, most spaces are reserved and we had to ride around for a while before finding a parking space. We were a

Everything was great during our stay. The setup of our suite worked well. The suite was clean and the view was exactly what we wanted. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We wanted a hard to find souvenir and went out of their way to help us find it! We enjoyed our stay and will stay again when we come back. -

Staff was excellent - any shortfall of the hotel as far as being outdated and need of updating and renovations was out-shined by the staff at every level.
Free bike "rental" was a great bonus. Restaurant attached to hotel was very good with exceptional service and great prices.

We stayed at Newcastle Hotel in Virginia Beach in June 3013 with 5 other families. We had a Great time. The staff at Newcastle were wonderful! We loved having access to beach bikes provided by the Hotel. The Hotel location is wonderful! All five families said they would stay again. The Lighthouse restaurant located at the Hotel was friendly, clean, had really tasty food and so nice to have just a few steps away!

The staff was friendly. Loved the contemporary style of the hotel and furnishings. The room was huge compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The beds were incredibly comfortable. I slept great. Great location with all the restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Would definitely stay again. -

This was our second time here and we had another wonderful stay! The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect on the beach, we also really enjoy the breakfast at the hotel and it allows us to get to the beach sooner! We will definitely be back! -

The beaches are gorgeous, the ocean is warm and not too rough, ideal for seasoned swimmers. Dolphins swimming really close to the beach. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. From the front desk to housekeeping. Very professional. The facility was nice and clean. Housekeeping did a wonderful job of cleaning our room and restocking towels everyday. The breakfast which is included was very nice.
