  The location of the resort was prefect! We had a beautiful view from the second floor, so make sure you ask for a second floor unit. The front desk people were friendly and welcoming, and the maintenance guy was extremely polite! We love the studio unit layout and the kitchen amenities. Coffee and computer in the lobby a plus! The desk staff were quick to register me in and offered me a map to pick my room and advised me several locations close to one of the pools. We got to check in early so it felt like a free day.   The best overall friendly staff I've encountered in recent travels. Helpful and pleasant with being obsequious. Other than "live dinner music levels"*, a very quiet place to stay, even though "pet friendly". The management might want to survey guests to see if the dinner music is as much a "value added" factor as they think. Clean ,comfortable and very diligent chambermaid (Julissa). Bellhops and valet parkers were exceptionally polite and attentive and the driver of the shuttle service to downtown/ uptown Oak Creek Brewhouse was courteous, pleasant and an informed (his name was the Dutch word for 'scholar' and sounded like Scheeler, but that is probably an approximation.

  Very professional staff, helpful and friendly. The rooms were very spacious with well done earth tone colors and lots of natural wood. The room decor matched very well with the view of pine trees and resort being located away from the busy Sedona area. The food at their restaurant was the best I had in Sedona. Excellent wine also!   Location was very convenient. Oak Creek is not as touristy as Sedona, which we liked since we live in Phoenix and visit the area several times a year. The hotel is within walking distance of one of the more distinctive formations, Bell Rock, as well as a lot of other great trails, local restaurants and shopping. The location was the best for me. We came to see the red rocks around Sedona, but the center of Sedona is a traffice nightmare; Oak Creek, six mile south of Sedona, is a much better location. The red rock are still nearby and you have all the restaurants etc that you need, but without the crowds and traffic.

  We stayed in a studio room for 3 nights. Had a small kitchen which we took advantage of making our breakfast and lunch every day. Scenery lovely, very quiet and serene, calming. Staff very helpful. We were called several times and invited to attend various events being put on by the resort. We went hiking everyday and then came home and relaxed by the pool and hot tub. Our studio room was good for two people. It had a kitchen and there were barbeques available.
