  We like quirky, so the Inn was right up our alley. I had seen many ads for this hotel before, but never booked it. I recommended it to two Aussie visitors in the summer, and they gave it glowing reviews, so we gave it a try. It was all we could hope for: friendly, fun and quirky (the old icebox in the wall, the closet the size of another room, an... cosa dice la gente » d the plugs that weren't modern enough to hold our chargers easily). Best price for the downtown core, and they dealt with our unpleasant discovery as - Clean, tasteful, comfortable, affordable, quiet, and extremely convenient to the hospital, where my husband was having tests. The blackout curtains were much appreciated. Very pleasant place to stay in the heart of the city.

  I loved everything about this place- felt like home. The room was huge, comfortable and clean, the building was charming, and dont get me started on how rad the bar/restaurant is. Ive read a few bad reviews of this place, and I can only assume they are written by people who live very privileged lives. Try finding another hotel in the area for under $100 a night. All essential amenities were fine--and clean. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. We'll be happy to stay here again on our next visit.

  I stayed at College Inn only one night and I had another reservation for the other two nights that I stayed in Seattle. I had not tried a hotel with shared bathroom and I was not very OK with that. But right after I stepped in I really liked the atmosphere of the College Inn. This hotel is very cozy, clean, quite and budget friendly. In fact I tried to cancel my booking for the rest of my stay which I couldn't since I had to pay canc - College Inn is a European style hotel (ie. Hostel) with sinks in the rooms, and shared washrooms down the hall. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building in the middle of the University district of Seattle, and is adjacent to campus, therefor very convenient for visting students or attending university events.

  Extremely nice staff, pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were decorated in a beautiful and cosy way. The historic feeling is great. Great location. For breakfast, you can get tea or coffee and delicious pastry. I also liked how they turned the "bad" stuff into something nice; instead of saying "we only have bathrooms in the corridor and not in the roo... cosa dice la gente » ms" they say "You can borrow for free a nice bathrobe if you want!". - Jan (the owner) was very friendly and had a lot of suggestions for sights and activities during my short stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station as well as downtown Seattle/Pioneer Square. It is also on/near public transit lines. The hotel has an extremely rich and important history that Jan is always willing to talk about. If I ever make it to Seattle again, I will definitely stay here!
