The room was very nice and clean. We were upgraded to a suite which had
it's own good sized balcony right above where the pool was with a
couple lounge chairs and a table and chairs. The y had cheese and wine
in the early evening then desert later with milk and in the morning a
continental breakfast with a lot of items to choose from. Very nice

I liked the location -- a few blocks off the freeway 101 and very easy to find -- a just a short walk from the harbor and beach where there is so much to see and do. The staff was helpful and friendly and the continental breakfast was one of the best for a small boutique hotel

We stayed for 2 separate 3/4 night periods - first on our own room (102) and then in a different room (San Miguel suite) while our son was in 214 for that later stay.
Breakfast was lovely - served to table and fresh "special" daily as well as usual menu items.

In a quiet area compared with the State St hotel we have stayed at before. -
Fabulous place, and a great price. It is comfortable, clean, on a quiet street 2-3 blocks from the beach. I appreciate that it doesn't have lots of bells and whistles (that I don't like paying for), but all the necessities to be comfortable and relax. Nice breakfast included (yogurt/granola, or an egg dish, which changes daily; with fruit, juice, coffee/tea). Staff are very responsive and friendly.

The location was excellent for our needs. Close to downtown. The hotel was clean well laid out. Breakfast was included and saved us time and extra expense. The location is fantastic. Hotel Santa Barbara is right downtown and walking distance from everything. The hotel itself is older, so the rooms are probably all different sizes. This little hotel is a real find. Located downtown, it's within walking distance of everything. The rooms aren't huge but for two people, there was plenty of room. The beds were SO comfortable, with wonderful bedding and great pillows. Breakfast is casual buffet-style in the lobby but the staff kept everything replenished and hot. A wonderful little hotel that I can't wait to return to!

Nice location, right by the harbor and Stearns Wharf. We had a lovely view from the balcony overlooking the harbor. The wine and cheese in the afternoon was a nice touch and the heated pool and jacuzzi were good. The breakfast was also good and they kept making sure they refilled any of the items. Beds were comfy.

Modern and streamlined is good in a value motel. Also love the welcome mat for pets! -

It was a lovely room that felt fresh and new, it was clean, the staff was very nice and welcoming, the area was lovely and surrounded with restaurants and useful shops, and situated near the beach. The beds were very comfortable (esp after my long journey from SF) and I felt safe falling asleep there.

Stayed for one night as we were visiting ucsb. Jon checked us in and
helpful and friendly in answering the few questions we had about the
motel and surrounding area. The folks at the front desk the next day
were also very courteous and friendly. Breakfast had a lot of choices

The elevator was very helpful with luggage and unexpected. We used the
