The staff treated me like family and the accommidations were perfect
for my needs. I was alone and didn't require much, except a place
to safely sleep. I've known the motel since 1976 when I moved to
San Luis Obispo and I've seen it go through many changed. I was

I always stay at San Luis Inn when I stay in SLO. Best value and location for the money. Quiet and no train sounds!!
The girl at the front desk is very nice, and the cleaning staff is friendly (without being too "nosy" or "pushy" about housekeeping like some hotels.) Rooms are always clean, and they have nice new TV's in some of the rooms.
Good area between Cal Poly campus and downtown, and it's RIGHT NEXT to the two late-night restaurants. Can't go wrong

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we asked about nearby restaurants, they gave us a $10 gift certificate for a steakhouse within easy walking distance. The motel was easy to find and close to anything we might need--a grocery store and several restaurants. -

L'hotel è situato a pochi metri dalla via principale. Le camere sono ampie e molto pulite. La colazione è inclusa, abbondante e varia. - I liked the corner room and size for the price - The hotel was well situated, easy walk into town. A superb 'New Orleans' style diner right on the doorstep!! Great!

Accommodating-I am a senior and would have had a problem carrying my bag
up the stairs. They provided me with a room down stairs which was very
much appreciated. -
Clean and nice. Not the same color on every wall. Plenty of towels and shampoo without asking. Will go back for sure!!!

I liked the cleanliness, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. We had
enough towels, and the motel did not have noisy people. The manager
reminded me that I left clothes in the room, and that saved me tons
of money!! -
It had everything we needed. Very much a "motel", but clean and efficient.

The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Since this was parent weekend at Cal Poly, every motel was full. We had reservations but I heard them trying to help people who did not have a place to stay. -
For the location and price, this Motel 6 can NOT be beat! We reserved 4 rooms and everyone loved it. Great value, and the staff

Helpful and friendly staff. We had booked a standard room, but staff
readily changed it for a handicapped room to accommodate my wife's
wheelchair. Newly remodelled motel. Could not fault it for anything.

Excellent services and superb customer repertoire from housekeeping to the front desk to the owner of the Inn. We stayed in the Delia's Suite and were so impressed with the home like setting and the size of the suite. Thanks to all that provided us with a wonderful stay! -

The female manager was efficient and very nice at check in. The motel clearly had attention to maintenance with regard to paint, fixtures and overall appearance. -
Room was spacious, and bed was really comfortable. Easy highway access. Staff member let me have a late checkout.

It's pretty much the half way point between LA & San Francisco so it's a good place to spend the night. It's comfortable and handy to the town which has plenty to offer. Could have easily spent 2 or 3 nights here if we had the time. -
The location of the hotel suited me really well as an overnight stop on my way from SF to LA.
