The owner Michelle and her Inn Director: Julie set the tone of friendliness and accomadation and the staff mirror those values. - This was by far one of the finest places we have ever visited.   Location was excellent - close proximity to everything yet far from the more congested, tourist towns. Small playhouse in town I could walk to for a play. The food was fabulous. My room was lovely, comfortable and I felt at home. The staff were great and accomodating my needs. We've stayed there in the past, and found the Dorset Inn to be charming; the staff bent over backwards to be helpful; and the food was excellent. The building is an Antique and is decorated accordingly, although the facilities are modern.

  Absolutely beautiful! We can not wait to go again in the winter. All of the staff were very friendly & courteous. The views are breathtaking. The rooms were very comfortable with silky feeling sheets. The pool area was plenty big with room for kids & the adults along with a nice bar area to get food & beverages. The kids loved the area... cosa dice la gente » with the 4 square, shuffleboard,& large chess. - We loved our room. There was a staff member named Ken who grew up in the same area of CT as us. The town of Stowe looked like something out of a movie.

  We rented a one room cabin. The cabin had everything we needed. The gas fireplace was nice and heated up the room perfectly. The grounds are large and there is plenty of room to walk and enjoy the outdoors.
