I had a reservation at Red Roof Inn which they did not honor. The Red
Roof staff was most unhelpful. letsbookhotel.com found us a room at Days Inn.
We were very tired and aggravated. The receptionist match the price of
Red Roof and was very hospitable and empathetic to the situation. -

The staff was unbelievablely attentive to our every need and the person that cleaned our room was wonderful. That person added little touches such as: arranging the stuffed animals on the children's pillows that they won at Hershey Park. It was such a thoughtful thing to do. -

Room was very nice, as were the staff. We were only a mile from Gettysburg, so the location was great. Nice continental breakfast. Also, fresh coffee was available in the lobby at all times. Also offered free shuttle service into Gettysburg if needed. Perkins restaurant right next door, within walking distance; we ate there for lunch one day. -

Several restaurants were nearby as was Walmart and a shopping center. Being the off-season, the price was quite reasonable. I was very pleased with my stay at the Gettysburg Days Inn.

Breakfast was very good, although it would be nice if they changed it up a bit. Nice big area for breakfast. Room was extremely clean and felt safe. Area was superb for shopping and other Lancaster things to do. Employees were friendly although they didn't speak very good English.

We loved the comfort of the king size bed. Having a kitchen gave us the opportunity to cook in or bring back leftovers to reheat in the oven or microwave. My husband could watch TV in the livingroom while I had the TV in the bedroom. - Everyone was wonderful at the AKA. The location was Fantastic!

I have stayed at 4 star hotels there were not as clean and comfortable as the Hampton Inn Phila/ Willow Grove. All staff very accommodating. You should not advertise this as a 21/2 star hotel ....luxury linens were great ....most travelers want to sink in clean comfy bed and bathroom.....this has it ! The owner and the staff were extremely nice and friendly. When the owner found out that I have cancer and my husband has a back injury, he offered to upgrade us to a cottage so that we wouldn't have to climb the stairs. He also had a breakfast tray brought up to my husband. The room was very comfortable, and the lodge and its grounds are beautiful. We hope to go back during the summer so we can use the pool.
