  Awesome stay! Very clean! Everything from the food to the staff and the rooms were perfect. The manager was so helpful as I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with an intimate dinner. He arranged to get me a table cloth, candles, gave us free complimentary drinks, set me up with a flower shop, and helped me with dinner arrangements for our room.   Front desk personnel were exceptional in all aspects. When I called from airport for a ride the desk person provided detailed information and was helpful. Once I arrived at the hotel they were wonderful. The shuttle drivers both on June 4 and June 5 were great as well. - Spacious and comfortable room.   The quietness. Like a retreat. Great food. - Staff were courteous and efficient. Checked in early but no rooms were available, they said they would call me when I could go to the room. They did. The room I got I didn't like (close to elevator door and TV not straight in from of bed). They upgraded me to quieter corner room.

Most of the European restaurants are at the other end of Brooklyn near the bridge. Though there is a McDonalds ab - We were really impressed with the hotel. Surprisingly nice for such a great price. It isn't in manhattan but it is a 10 min walk between 2 metro stations and fast to get to everywhere. The area itself was multi cultural which means great food! Also, there were some really great cafes and bars in walking distance (we loved sycamore - which is a flower shop with a bar in the back, milk and honey - which has great breakfast, and there is even a coffee shop at newkirk plaza station that had Toby's

  My partner and I spent 3 nights at The Manhattan and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable with decent bathroom facilities. The hotel also provided free WiFi in the lobby. The location could not have been any better - very close to Times Square, Central Park, various restaurants... cosa dice la gente » and the subway. We wouldn't hesitate to book with The Manhattan again and we would highly recommend the hotel to our family and friends! - I was very impressed with the hotel. It was better than I though being in nyc . I would recommend everyone to stay there. Shopping was rt at the door . Eating also entertainment was rt there. I could not have chosen a better place to stay. The kids enjoyed themselves ,first time in nyc. My brother was with me and he only stay at the Hilton when he travel, but he stayed with me and rated this hotel as very good and that says a lot coming from him.
