  Handy location for shopping and being near a larger supermarket, with the kitchnette, we could prepare meals in the room rather than eat out each night. Rooms were reasonable - nothing flash but definitely value for money. Free internet was awesome and not included in many other places we checked out. Close to decent restaurants which were less touristy because the hotel is away from the main areas. - Room was clean and had partial view out to the water. Price was reasonable. Location was within easy walk to Ala Moana shopping centre. Kitchenette was also very handy allowing a night at home cooking.

  we were originally concerned about previous reviews of no air conditioning and noisy roosters. the only night that was uncomfortable was the first nite. we cranked up the fans and made sure everything was open and it was fine after that. The roosters were not a problem at all, barely heard them in the distance. the units were spacious and equip... cosa dice la gente » ped with anything we could possibly need. parking was right at our door. our unit was in building 13 which backed up to a forested area, which made it - Our two-bedroom condo was comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great location-- the Princeville resort very close to Hanalei. The resort was actually nicer than I thought it would be. I would definitely come back.

  We stayed for 3 nights in February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Terrie (the owner) is very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the local area she provided us with lots of information about what to see and do - and there is quite a lot, stuff you don't read about in the regular travel books. Everywhere was very clean and the accommodation is in a very peaceful lo - It´s perfect! Our suite was comfortable, clean and cozy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! (Fresh papaya with other fruits and yoghurt, and freshly baked bread or muffins). Location is absolutely wonderful, very tropical. Wifi worked great. Pahoa is a good base to start many excursions, even though it´s on the rainy side of the island.
