  The staff were extremely friendly. Our room was very clean and was cleaned often. The location is within walking distance of Georgetown. - Front desk Staff and cheese Chef amenable attitude , extremely knowledgable. Very pleasant evening because of him.

  The building itself is magnificent - harks back to a more refined time. We were a group of 5 "mature" college girlfriends, having our every-other-year reunion. The location was great, being within walking distance to the White House and many other sites, and 1 block away from the Metro. Biggest chocolate strawberrys/and cake and cream ive ever seen as a special gesture and free. staff and conciege extra polite and helpful.As previous comments this is a luxury standard by which all others should be judged the besr hotel we have stayed in and weve stayed in some top ones. the hotel is steeped in history take the trouble to enquire????

  letsbookhotel.com gave me the wrong address for the place -- 2000 North Street instead of n Street. Fortunately there isn't a North Street -- otherwise I would have been massively inconvenienced. AllCity (the managers) are not available by phone outside business hours -- I.E., when one arrives in dc with the wrong address. The price-value was great, it was cheaper than a 5star hotel room. Even though the company said I couldn't leave my my luggage for a couple of hours after my check out, I had no problem, as this was a main concern.
