  The room looked just like the pictures which was great. Also, we didn't notice until 2 hours after we checked out that my daughter had left her coat in the the room.We were already on the highway and I gave them a call. Twenty minutes later we came back and the front desk had her coat in hand waiting for us.   The hotel was very nice. Large rooms. We didn't hear a lot of noise like door slamming or stomping. The staff was very helpful even when letsbookhotel.com messed up our reservations, they found us a room and we were able to stay in the same room for the entire time. The hotel itself looked beautiful and was always tidy. It is located not to far from mystic aquarium, mystic seaport, and shopping outlets/malls; all a quick drive away.   The facade of the facility is very beautiful but the rooms need updating. The room I stayed in seemed a bit run down. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom's faucets and shower faucets were all rusted and dirty looking like cleaning solution was placed on them but they were never cleaned.   Everything! This has to be one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. It was clean, the staff was very helpful, and it looked like it was brand new. But it wasn't. I asked for a non-smoking first floor room and that is exactly what I got.   The front desk attendant was extremely professional and friendly. The room was nicely appointed and had everything that anyone could need for an extended stay.   I liked the coziness of the Inn. The room was very nice and my window overlooked the Main Street which was very quaint. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very nice. - Location ideal for an academic visit to Wesleyan. Good access to downtown shops and restaurants. Dining room remained open past 10 pm, which was a big help.
