I stayed at Alaska Grizzly Lodge with my sister from Japan from Sep 21 to 26, 2013. I loved the lodge! The décor was very nice and I was able to feel Alaska everywhere in the lodge and I took a lot of pictures of the lodge and the 3 very friendly and well-mannered dogs! The room was very comfortable and very warm.

My wife and I spent 3 most wonderful nights at lodge. We watched aurora borealis Three days in a row from my balcony. Amazing location! Anita, owner of the lodge, provides different but delicious breakfast every day. Since most of us did not bring enough clothes for standing under -20 F outdoors, she offered heavy coats and boots to make our surora viewing so enjoyable. Anita provides lots of advices that make our trip a lovely memory of life time.

Breakfast was wonderful each and every day---ice cream in the evening was also truly appreciated.

Really enjoyed my 10 nights here fornteh aurora. Hotel was very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. I chose this nHotel on the outskirts of town, formteh aurora, it had darker skies, and I saw them quite a few times!! There is a busstop out fron, but be aware that minimal to no service at weekends. -
