  This lodge has the best view of Mt McKinly from its back overlooking porch. When you check in ask for a room with a view. There are hiking trails. You can sometimes see Moose right outside. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its right out side of Talkeetna, so you can go to that neat city easily. - We had my daughters wedding there.   What an amazing relaxing place to stay, every little shop or eatery right there or within a few blocks, just to walk around downtown was awesome the staff was awesome too and very very helpful - The staff were very friendly the gym was first class The position was perfect within walking distance of just about everything
