The continental breakfast is a plus with young children. We stayed for two nights at the swiss chalets, we went on a ski weekend
and ended up doing some shopping too. The room was spacious (king size
room $75per night),very clean also it is the perfect location , right in
the middle of everything weather you wanna go to the ski resorts, shop
or have a great meal, very good little restaurants near by.very quiet (
we went over the weekend) , WiFi excellent..

We were taking our children to Storyland and decided to give a B&B a try. The suite at the Cranmore Lodge offered us the additional space and amenities we needed when traveling with our 2 and 6 year old. Our host was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the common areas. very nice owners, family friendly, very clean place, excellent breakfasts, family living room area with lots things for younger kids (train table, dvds, dolls, etc.), and a separate grown up living room with piano and guitars guests can play. Loved the pool - it was crystal clear. Nice hiking trails from the property. And surprisingly a little history with this Lodge was really neat to learn looking at the pictures on the walls.

The hotel looks new and is very clean. Staff were very friendly. What impressed me the most is the breakfast buffet - great selection of cold and warm breakfast and tea and fresh fruits! Have made my next stay reservation already!

and the food was hot. The waitstaff was very nice and efficient. We

Very easy-going, friendly staff, comfortable room, easy check-in. Good value for the money spent, tasty and surprisingly large, hot breakfast buffet in the morning. -

Pleasantly surprised by how clean, neat, and seemingly new our unit was. Didn't realize there were rooms around back as well as pool and lawn (which was great for our kids to unwind in sight of the room). Great value in excellent location. We've stayed in many locations in North Conway (all more expensive) and we'd gladly return to the Colonial to save a few dollars.

The beds are the most comfortable. The rooms are very nice and the choices at breakfast where a nice surprise. Overall a nice place.Price is a little less then the rest of the nice hotels in the area. -

We have been going to this same resort since 1991. We have stayed in winter, summer and fall. It is a great place for anyone. We particularly enjoy the outdoor pool and jacuzzi which is open year round! The staff is friendly and helpful, the bar has a great atmosphere and the food is excellent. Great value for the price. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have stayed at the Schoolhouse several times in the past, we think it is the best in North Conway. It feels almost like "home". -
The friendly staff and cleanliness and the price is very affordable being very close to all shopping and entertainment.
