Cosa dice la gente
Bathroom shower is great: good water pressure. If you like the shops
around Soho and the variety on New York's chinatown/little
italy, this is a great location. It's also walking distance to downtown-
civic center, which I walked through with my kids to get to Brooklyn
Bridge. The beds where really comfortable and the staff was really kind.
It's a small hotel. Nothing luxurious and not a Breakfast at Tiffany
location. But enough to rest and many greatly designed stores around. It
has some desig. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Great location for shopping next to Soho and Broadway. Good dining options and places to go out for drinks and live music within 20min walking distance. Room was good, and although nothing exciting, it was clean with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom where all worked fine. WiFi also worked fine with good bandwidth in our room. All in all really good value for money for NYC. Stayed at hotel for the 3rd time and would definitely come again.
I liked the simplicity of the hotel. The rooms were small but had everything a person would need and were very clean. The shower was one of the best showers I have ever had. The location of this hotel is second to none. The staff were brilliant and very non-intrusive, which I like as a traveller. One of the staff was one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen, which is always a welcome bonus when checking in anywhere.
The room was clean and modern i liked the fact that it was small staff were friendly and very abliging. Location you couldnt get better it is close to all subway lines close to chinatown, little italy for food and walking distance to action in east village. We were able to control airconditioning in our room so it suited our needs . I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. We had a very positive experience.
Everything. The space was small, but I'm not visiting New York to stay in the hotel. It was clean with comfy beds and a good AC. The space was modern and nicer than expected for the price. The noise was exactly what I expected from the city, but not enough to wake you up. How could anyone complain with such a good price in an amazing location.
It was noisy due to construction going on with all the updates to the city streets with future bike lanes plus still a little "Sandy" s I I did ask about moving so we changed to the 12th floor which was very nice. The staff was very helpful and was great to catch subways and do shopping in the SoHo and Village area I would stay again.
Awesome bedding!
Location was very convenient.
I had two double beds, and while traveling with my daughters, they shared one, just like when we stay at hotels/motels on road trips. Some NY hotels don't allow that situation for some reason. This made the trip possible and reasonable.
Great location. Free on street parking if you could find it (we did)
(rare for nyc). Room was modern and funky. Little Italy was just a
couple blocks away as well as Chinatown. We also walked to our off
Broadway play. No taxis, no subways no driving needed.
I was very pleased with the hotel, our room was on the back side and
it was relatively quiet - I was a little concerned after reading some
of the reviews about noise, but I had no complaints at all. Very
pleasant stay!.
the location is absolutely fantastic, a block away from the canal st. subway, which allows easy access to all of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Price was fair, bed comfortable, facilities clean. VERY good value for money.
This little jewel is very well placed between Old Italy and China Town but easy walking distance to the subway. Many good restaurants and shops within easy reach. Not over-run by tourists and quiet at night.
good location for Little Italy/Chinatown although quite a subway ride from Times Sq.
Bit of a walk to the nearest subway station but great for restaurants and breakfast diners.
Very friendly staff.
The room was very CLEAN. The hotel was in a perfect location for my reasons. Visiting and going to the skirball center for performing arts. The staff was polite, very informative and friendly.
Location, location, location for discovering Soho and surroundings (close to metro stations)
Car parking very close at a reasonable price
Room small but well organized and decorated
Very clean.
Great hotel; good quality for the price, excellent location in Soho; ideal for shopping. Plenty of breakfast opportunities nearby;
I will definitely go back when I visit NYC.
The hotel had a wonderful staff and the rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great. Water pressure was the best I've ever had.
Excellent location for exploring soho, Little Italy, Chinatown,
Brooklyn bridge, south street seaport by foot, and everything else with
subway close by.
the location is great close to many restaurants and subway. Many attractions of NY is in the walking distance. The staff is really grate and helpfull.
The room had a very comfortable bed, good window coverings, powerful shower. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood and easily accessible by transit.
Brilliant location. Excellent staff. Clean room and the feeling like New York is right at your footsteps. Incredible value for your money.
The location was appropriate, the rooms were small but comfortable. We were 3 mature girls in NY and we were very happy in this hotel. :).
Staff were brilliant and helped us with whatever we asked.
Location is one of best in the city in my opinion, this is why I booked it.
surprisingly pleasant - clean, simple, comfortable, classy bedding and bathroom not the usual fussy and tasteless decor in US hotels.
Location. Good functional No-nonsense hotel, smart clean design. Had just what I needed without fuss. Not too big- boutique feel.
The staff where all so nice and helpful. The rooms where clean and fresh. Really great place to stay for shopping.
We knew from reading reviews that the room would be small, which it was, but it was clean and comfortable.
Very friendly staff, nice, clean and comfortable hotel, great location in between Little Italy and Soho.
The staff was very helpful and the location was great with almost everything within walking distance.
Pillows, bathroom, front desk & staff were very friendly and helpful! I'll definitely be back!.
I loved the look of the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and courteous.
Comfortable beds
Very clean and well maintained
Very close to great shopping and restaurants.
great location. rooms were small, but very comfortable with good linens etc. Free internet.
Comfortable bed with linens, very clean, modern, and the staff was very friendly.
Good location near Little Italy and Chinatown. Close to Canal street metro stop.
Comfortable beds. Loved the double headed shower. Great location for
our needs.
We were satisfied with the staff, the clean fresh accomodations and location.
Although it was small, it was designed properly. It was very clean.
Location, fit out of room and bathroom, friendly and helpful staff.
nice clean rooms, great showers and beds, location is very good.
Right next to China town and Soho. Good food, great shopping.
The staff was more than helpful and very accomadating!!.
Clean and nice room, friendly statf, perfect location.
The staff was very friendly
and helpful. Great staff!.
Location was great. Simplicity was also fantastic.
Clean Bathroom. Quite area. Plenty of towlwes.
Location, location, location.
The location and the room.
Everything was amazing.
Staff was very helpful.
Love the location.
Try to get a high floor room becuase the subway makes sounds when it
passes. But you'll be so tired it won't wake you.
Insulation (window, heating) should be fixed to avoid cold air from outside coming into room.
I can honestly say there is nothing i disliked about the hotel. If i wanted to be really picky and look for something negative to say then it was that the mattresses were a little bit soft for our liking. 2 of us have back problems and firmer mattresses are better for us. That is simply personal preference and hotels cannot possibly cater for everyones.
nothing.
AC/Heat always seemed to blow cool air.
I had to tell the security guard I was checking out - no desk staff was there, it was Saturday at 7:15ish.
It's always nice to have juice or something offered, complimentary, in the morning.
Coffee maker and coffee packets were lame.
As a Designer - your sign is functional, but is aesthetically not in line with the hotel. That said, I did see it even with the construction out front.
A bit of mold in the shower but otherwise the room was clean.
the room is very small, just a meter of free space around the bed. But that's to be expected for that price. Central location means it also gets kinda noisy at night, but not enough to keep you up.
A little hard to find first time, as the hotel name is sandblasted into the doors.
The hotel sign is quite high up on the building.
Cab drivers know it though.
There is no breakfast, but just down the street is Le Pain Quantidien - Yum.
Room was small which we expected but only a thin blind so the sun woke us up very early.
Main issue was the unfathomable aircon controls - actually the a/c wasn't working the first night. They very helpfully fixed it but it stopped cooling again pretty quickly.
It was expensive. It did not have a breakfast. Did not have a refrigerator. Room was small but good enough for me.
Bit noisy - exterior and interior. Earplugs for sleeping were appreciated.
Nothing to dislike!.
Tremendous noise from construction had jackhammers waking us up every morning at 7am. The rooms were rather small too.
Room only allowed about 12" around bed. Air conditioning/fan
had to run constantly and was very noisy.
The room was quite small, but I think that is to be expected in N.Y.
Room was tiny, with 2 double beds it was technically for 4 people, we struggled with just the 2 of us.
Windows are not double glazed, every single thing from street level can be heard even though we were on 6th floor.
Would be far to noisy for normal people who dont get as drunk as us.
tiny room, but really one expects little else in most NY accommodation.
Smallish rooms, bit noisy - but hey it's New York.
Not much...no a/c in the hallways, but that's understandable.
It's New York, so it's very pricy.
The room we had was too small to have two large suit cases opened in it.
public areas are very worn. when you walk in ...you go...Oh NO! But the rooms are very nice.
Construction outside started about 7:30 AM. Our room was on the street side.
Room a little small but, not that we didn't like it . Just a little
cramped if you had more than three people. Luggage space is a bit
limited but we managed. No complaints.
Only slight dislike was the construction going on, but that is certainly not a criticism of the hotel.
No dislikes.
Although it was clean, housekeeping tends to overlook dusting under the
bed. We've found some unsightly items there.
Size of room, lack of breakfast facilities. Lack of cable tv.
rooms are small.
Very noisy. All streets in area under construction.
No negative experiences.
The rooms were a bit congested. Quite small.
No creamer packets with coffee.
Construction noise outside.
Sometimes I can hear the pipes from other rooms. Maybe it could be room cleaners in the afternoon.
Nothing in particular.
Very small room but typical for NYC.
Expensive!.
