It was a bit more family oriented than we expected for a "girls trip" but nonetheless, it was a beautiful, clean, peaceful vacation spot.   The North Beach Plantation Resort is a 5 ***** star in my opinion. They had overbooked the resort & the staff was very accomedating by upgrading our room to a beautiful suite. The resort is very clean and everyone is so friendly. We had an absolutely wonderful time on the beach, mingling with other guests, and entertained by the pool bar staff... cosa dice la gente » all afternoon. The resort is located in the true heart of North Myrtle Beach with tons of shops, live entertainment, and fun to be had. This was a r - I loved the space of the rooms. The view from the balcony of the ocen. The pool had plenty of areas for people to enjoy and not feel crowded. The rooms were immaculate. You never had to wait for an elevator. They checked us in quickly and without hassle. The walk to the beach from the pool area was short. The parking was great. I will probably only come back to this resort in the future visits to Myrtle Beach.

  This was my first time at Coral beach resort.. We had a amazing time! The staff was amazing.. We loved the bartender dave. He was great. He was one of the best bartenders I have had. I went to the bar everyday and ordered the same drinks bc he made them exactly the way I liked I spent over $130 at the bar during our 4 day stay there.. The kiddie pool was a hit with my four year old daughter. There were three hot tubs, One outside and two inside. The bowling alley was really nice. They played great music videos that were kid friendly. The atmosphere was great and the prices were reasonable. I also loved my room. The view was amazing.   The weather was horrible for a beach vacation but there were hot tubs, pool and lazy river inside we could go to and still enjoy. The location was good because it was close to the boardwalk and the access to main highways were straight down across the hotel. The room was clean and did not smell musty. - I loved that with 2 young kids we really didn't have to leave and spend more money for them to have fun. Great when you're on a budget.   We stayed in the North Building, which is one of the oceanfront properties of the Dayton House. The hotel was deceivingly nice (it looked kinda old and shabby on the outside), but the room itself was not bad!!!
