  I was happy with my stay at NYC Hostel. This was my first stay and was there for one night only (in Nov 2013). - The hostel was clean and staff were welcoming. - You get a new bed-sheet, a comforter, pillow and a towel. - Common bathroom has hot and cold water. - No curfew.   Boerum Hill is a great alternative to staying in Manhattan. We were travelling for a friends wedding in the area and probably wouldn't have considered it before but definitely would again. We stayed in the top floor, two bedroomed apartment which gave us much more flexibility than you would have in a hotel room. You get so much more for your money, in terms of space and facilities. Our room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. We were in a guest house but had total independence and freedom.
