Excellent location next to a great park and within 5 mins walk of Lake Michigan. Transport into city super easy from right outside the hotel or you can walk into the city within half hour.
Design of the hotel funky & individual - loved the staff 'uniforms' with the bow ties etc.
Great coffee shop attached to the hotel lobby.

Great hotel in an awesome location. Excellent customer service from the staff. Roof top bar/restaurant has amazing views. The hotel has a very cool retro feel and the decor is great. The restaurant was good - pricey, but you can grab a bite at the bar. The bartendar provided excellent service.

From the first moment we entered the staff was friendly and helpfull. The location is exellent, 8min walk to the L. Clark street which is full of pubs and restaurans just 2min. 2 cinema's are in walking distance. The hostel is great, whether if you're in a dorm or private room. We were in a half/half. At check-in the staff was extremely helpful and, when no parking spots were available, they showed where to find free parking and then another ramp to park as well. The events hosted by the hostel were outstanding as well, the pub crawl, evening grill out, and the Hawks parade viewing of course. Overall, this hostel is straightforward and simple, no tricks, in a fun and happening Lincoln Park neighborhood, and I know this is my new go to place to stay when I return to Chicago for future trips.

The staff was extremely kind when our taxi didn't show up to take us
to Union Station. So we missed the train. A staff member stood in the
rain with us while we tried to get another cab. We couldn't get a
cab, but they let us continue to use our room for the day. This out-
weighs any of the negative comments we wrote. They were awesome! -

... cosa dice la gente » the helpful front desk staff as well as the room cleaners. Anna and Barbara did an excellent job of cleaning and restocking my room 317 when I stayed there earlier this week. They both deserve raises.
I also liked the guest use of the lobby computer as well as the continental breakfast.

convenience to our daughter! - European style boutique hotel. Reasonable price and friendly staff. Free continental breakfast and coffee/tea/snacks throughout day in lobby area. Great location for Lakeview/Lincoln Park area. Would stay there again definitely but wonder about a/c in summer.
