We went to celebrate my partners 30th and they help arrange champagne and chocolate Strawberries for our arrival in the room and managed to upgrade us and give us an early check in. When it came to leaving as we wasn't able to get back to ou - Loved the convenience of the drive up and valet, although $50 wa a little expensive. $265 room with 2 lunch salads and 1 small pot of coffee and a bottle of water (room service) and valet put the room charge to $460. Ended up being pretty expensive for one night. We may consider staying again, but more expensive than we expected.

  We live 60 plus miles from the city and have come in often for weekends and stayed in numerous hotels over the years. This is by far the very best experience we have ever had and I will never think of booking any other hotel. Loved the look and style of the hotel. Staff was amazing and VERY accommodating. Such a lovely touch, it was very much appreciated and immediately kicked off the weekend in birthday celebration mode.

The location is great because the subway is just a block north of the hotel and it is in the heart of a revitalized district of of New York.
