  The Dupont Circle provided a special experience from the moment we arrived. The design was contemporary with a touch of luxury but the atmosphere was relaxing and not pompous. The location was perfect for my husband and I and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the national monuments (about 30 mins). The location was TERRIFIC. Easy access to Metro. Tons of restos and stores within walking distance. The employees we dealt with were courteous and very responsive. All in all, it was a great place to stay for a long weekend in DC.

  Very friendly and courteous staff. Bell hops are awesome and on the spot! Great housekeeping crew too. This is a great location very close to the Dupont Circle (q St) metro off the red line.   Such a great experience. From the moment I checked in, the hotel staff was extremely professional and friendly. Everybody acted genuinely happy to see me, and made me feel like a vip!!   letsbookhotel.com gave me the wrong address for the place -- 2000 North Street instead of n Street. Fortunately there isn't a North Street -- otherwise I would have been massively inconvenienced. AllCity (the managers) are not available by phone outside business hours -- I.E., when one arrives in dc with the wrong address. The price-value was great, it was cheaper than a 5star hotel room. Even though the company said I couldn't leave my my luggage for a couple of hours after my check out, I had no problem, as this was a main concern.

  The hotel was under renovation at the time of my visit so they upgraded my room without my even asking for anything. The room was fantastic and spacious. The gym was also closed, but the staff had already made arrangements with a local fitness club to accommodate us free of charge. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to restaurants, museums, art galleries and trolley etc. We've biked from the hotel to the Capitol and the Potomac river is beautiful.

The location is in a very safe area which is easily accessible from public transit. It is an older hotel, but this added to its charm rather than detract from it.
