Enjoyed the facility itself, but the staff made our stay more pleasurable. The location was within walking distance to almost all of Newport.

I love that the hotel is unique and desn't feel like any chain hotel. I also love the history of the hotel and that it has been open since 1929.

The staff was very friendly and helped us with questions about Newport. We got great tips about restaurants. Everyone was very helpful and nice. For example they always wanted to help with our stroller going up and down the stairs. This is an old house so it´s kind of narrow in the hallways but it was no problem getting around. We loved our visit to Newport and will stay here again! The staff was wonderful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Everything but the beaches and mansions were in walking distance. The breakfast was simple but filling and fresh each morning, with fruit and/or cookies out each day and afternoon. The room was great, and we especially enjoyed the deck...a great place for a glass of wine or cup of coffee! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Bill and Mary were so friendly and accommodating. They were flexible
with a later check-in, allowed us to keep our bikes out back, and park
in their drive-way past check out. In addition, they were super helpful
in suggesting restaurants (including important details, such as letting
us know about one that was great, but didn't accept credit cards)

Rose Inn was walking distance to all of the shopping and restaurants in Newtown. They have off street parking so we saved having to pay for parking on the strip. The breakfasts in the morning were wonderful and I looked forward to it each morning. The owners were so kind and had many recommendations for us. Our towels were replenished daily and our sheets turned down nightly, it was lovely.

Upon arrival the concierge paid attention to our personal trip plans and
upgraded our 2 queen room to a king room with full 2 person jacuzzi for
the same price - it totally changed the whole trip for us - we hardly
ever left the room!! We were within 2 minutes walking distance to some
of the best food in newport - and the beach was right across the street

I loved our charming, private room- the bed was huge and super comfy, the room was decked out with interesting decorations, and the grounds were beautiful. I loved how we were right in the heart of it all yet tucked away where no one could find us. The breakfast was so yummy and Denise and Wayne were so pleasant and made us feel like we were home.

We loved being in the thick of things in downtown Newport. We Loved Jane, the manager, who was very thorough, friendly, and helpful. We loved the sheets and th comfort of the bed. We Loved th view of the harbor from our room and the spaciousness of our room and sitting area.For the price, some higher qualitybaked goods would have been betterfor the included continental breakfast. I thought the Inn had everything that we needed for our week end in Newport, RI. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great. Plus, there was always a pot of fresh coffee. I would book this Inn again. Thanks to all the staff. -
