  Perfect place to visit nyc and sleep after an exhausting day. The room was small and the mattress quite hard but we slept like babies. It was cleaned and the towels in the ensuite bathroom changed everyday. Staff couldn't be more helpful and nice. For the excellent price we also got breakfast consisting of coffee/tea and a lovely croissant/omelett... cosa dice la gente » e, ham and cheese sandwich. - Besides the extremely helpful staff, I loved the wallpaper in the halls. I also loved the view and being in the "thick of things" - close to subway, easy walks to Little Italy, the Bowery, Financial districts. I also liked being able to practice Mandarin chinese! However, if you are looking to live like the New Yorkers do then this is the place to be. - The neighborhood, flat and staff was fantastic. The host had her assistant wait for us until the wee hours as we were arriving quite late with children. She was so sweet and friendly. Flat was impeccably cleaned and the East Village is such a vibrant and cool neighborhood. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

  I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is one of the best budget hotels I have stayed at. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice, had oatmeal, pastries, juice and coffee, tea and cereal. Very nice place to stay. The location is fairly close to the light rail which services New Jersey and the - Really comfortable, with friendly stuff, it has everything you need (free WiFi as well). Among other good things I enjoyed the opportunity to take breakfast in the room with you (because they actually don't have a special room for it: buffet is right next to the reception desk).
