  The hotel room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. First off I would have never stayed in this hotel because it was completely out of my budget but I cashed in some rewards points for a gift card. This stay was a nice upgrade to my trip. We travel extensively as a family and the Olympic Fairmont Hotel would have to be one of the best hotels we have stay in. Spotless, friendly and Old World Charm, with good old fashioned manners and service.

  The Spa was excellent and personnel very professional. We enjoyed the upgrade to the suite. The concierge was very helpful as was the front desk. When I had left my hat (Howard) they did find it and I was able to later pick it up. Much appreciated. Enjoyed lunch and coffee in the lobby areas.   The location is excellent. walking distance to touristic sites, shopping, a small supermarket across the street. and you can take a shuttle bus for 11 dollars one way to the airport just outside the hotel.   Staff who were all so pleasant and very attentive. A request for extra towels and pillows was fulfilled within minutes. The sofabed in the room to accommodate a larger family was excellent. It was the only hotel in Seattle we found that didn't require booking two rooms, therefore making the visit affordable. They were just so much prettier than any hotel I've ever seen. Puckered bed topper with a teal tree design end lay. The view was nice (even though it was the highway). The breakfast was AMAZING, hot and fresh. Access to 24-hour fitness made me feel like management of the hotel knew what they were doing and had good area business relationships.

  The location, even though a bit distant from downtown, was great in that Capital Hill has some great restaurants and everything else you as visitor might need---drugstores, banks, grocery store, coffee shops (of course!) Getting downtown was easy with shuttle service provided by hotel, and the drivers were knowledgeable and friendly. Last minute choice. Delighted with the experience. Room was very comfortable, very nice king bed, refrigerator and microwave, and a separate bar-style sink and counter. Lots of hot water for the shower! Very easy to get to points in Metro Seattle. Breakfast in the room very good an inexpensive. Grocery shopping one block away, lots of small restaurants nearby, also.
