Only stayed for one night.however person at front desk could not have been more pleasant, friendly (9:00pm) and accommodating Breakfast in am was great and the service was as above. First time stay but won't be the last. Next time I will bring my son and daughter (12 and 14) to enjoy the emenities. Room very spacious and simple. Clean and free of dust etc. I have allergies and did not experience any abnormal sneezing or coughing.

The room was a very nice size for just 2 people, we stayed in a single king size room. The general manager, who we dealt with while we were there, was very friendly and accommodating. The shuttle that would bring you to the village and back was a nice perk and allowed you to stay away from the noise but still experience it as you wanted. I liked having the heated pool and hot tub. Liked the convenience of going over to the beach area. Liked the availability of the fire pit. I liked the closeness of going to Lake George downtown. Beautiful area. Overall we had a great stay. What a great place! The rooms were attractive, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the beach, pool, and playground. They even provide a campfire each night for guests! I can't wait to stay here again. All the employees worked hard to make our visit enjoyable, especially Matt who cheerfully drove us into town and picked us up after our dinner cruise. Loved the location. Beautiful mountains overlooking Lake George. The staff was great. Very secluded and peaceful. Dunham's Bay Resort has a wonderful, family-like feel, which harkens back to the old charm of Lake George. Very nice staff and great food at the bar!. hot tub. restaurant and cabin. The location. location. It can accommodate a family of 6 (2BR, 1bath, 1 futon) for a reasonable price. It is relatively near (approx. 5miles) to Lake George Village. Place is quiet with beach access and good facilities. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable and clean. The location was quiet and the lake was pretty but could only view it from the outside of the room. Convenient transit night off season, we were heading to Quebec. Wait staff very friendly. View was pretty. Location. nothing, I will not recommend this hotel. rooms are un clean, no internet and cellphone connections. doors are falling apart. i cannot recommend this hotel. nothing. No coffee maker or micro in the room. Found this to be strange, but not too disturbing. Also when booking the room, there was no mention of view ( back of hotel or facing the water) maybe I missed it. I also booked late one day notice so rooms were scarce. All in all not a bad experience. Nothing. The bed was short for my boyfriend of 6'2". Barely and phone service which I know that is out of your control and sometimes was convenient to a point. Top lock on my room did not lock when you left the room. One key to the room. The rooms, especially the bathroom need updating. The grumpy little man at the marina. Ac unit didn't work, the room was very stuffy. Slightly rundown premises. Lighting deficient. Room too dark. lack of aircondtion in the living room of the cottage. The sofa bed was not cleaned (there were lots of crumbs, and a soiled linen on it) prior to having guests occupy the cabin. Making us wonder as to the extent of cleanliness in our cabin. The bathroom needed to be updated. The sink faucet dripped all night and had to close the door to sleep. For the money paid for the room expected a more updated bathroom. On line it looked very grand, in person it did not come up to my expectations. I would not stay there again. Room door leaked air, seemed a bit run and old. The food was twenty years ago in content and presentation, however we were not looking for anything but 'overnight.'. The room was very dark and old looking. The food was the wedding was horrible. The cocktail hour had cheese & crackers and veggies no dip and it was all near the pool. Kids could fall in. Also no elevator and no one to help you carry luggage up two flights of stairs. Room. it is not clean ... have bugs..very dirty and old bathroom .. very bad room service .
