  Great hotel in the middle of town. If you are looking to park your car for your stay and walk around a wonderful town, this is it. We had a great time. Many things to keep you busy and the great selection of the many wonderful restaurants to dine. Very safe area for evening walks and dog friendly. - It's location is great!   There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about The Anchorage Inn and Suites.From comfortable and impeccably clean rooms to the beautiful indoor pool and sauna to the amazing , friendly staff and the free continental breakfast ,I couldn't have been more pleased. 'Roundabout' Swimming pool not used but looked nice. Excellent for what we wanted - a comfortable inexpensive base to explore Portsmouth and surrounding area Would certainly go back there .
