We liked everything! Charming structure and setting, in the woods, but just back from the main road. Comfortable, clean, well appointed room and bathroom-not luxurious but more than satisfactory A superb value for the price. Wonderful, friendly, helpful, accommodating owners. The setting was beautiful - out in the country, quiet, peaceful. Our room was at the back of the house with large windows. We were surrounded by trees and fell asleep to the sounds of the bubbling stream right behind the house. Breakfast was wonderful - cooked to perfection. Our hosts were wonderful and very attentive. We were treated like royalty, including 2 guided hikes through beautiful Thundering Falls Trail.

Being greeted at the door was just the beginning of a wonderful stay in a beautiful mountain inn . Hospitality was beyond anywhere else we have ever stayed . Steve, the Inn owner and Otto went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Provided maps and directions on request. Rooms large with very comfortable beds. Excellent continental breakfast . Inn furnished in typical New England country style. Wonderful gift shop attached, also owned by Steve and family. We certainly recommend this Inn for its hospitality.

This is our fourth stay at this motel, and we will always return here when in the area. It is a bit dated, but that simply adds to the charm. Everything works, and it is clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful and always makes us feel welcome. Breakfast is great! It feels like a home away from home -

Everything. We had a unique situation in that my husband and I and another couple we were traveling with were the ONLY ones at the inn. It was kind of strange to have the inn to ourselves, but such a treat.
