  I liked that we were feet away from the surf. I didn't have to cross bridges over dunes or walk hundreds of feet to get to the beach. I was able to sit on my balcony every morning and watch the sun come up and watch the waves. The room had a retro feel which suited me just fine. The Bistro had a great breakfast and the best smoked tuna sandwic... cosa dice la gente » h for lunch. I had a really good time. Hope it survives the next hurricane because it is right there...Enjoy it as long as you can. You will never g - The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant, The location was convenient and you could not beat the ocean front view. The restaurant has a limited menu, but the food was some of the finest I have every eaten. This is one of my favorite places to stay on the Outer Banks.
