Wonderful ship-deco architecture including original Cuban tile floors, jalousie windows, wooden jalousies on room door, rooftop deck with excellent view of treetops, birds, and the sunset. Peaceful courtyard with a fountain, a seating area, and lush landscaping including a Royal palm, night-blooming cacti, bromeliads, and other tropical foliage.

El Patio is a darling, 50s/art deco style hotel in walking distance to Duval Street and other tourist attractions in Key West. There were several patio areas to enjoy, including a lovely roof top deck. It seems that El Patio has many repeat customers and people were very friendly. I got lots of helpful tips regarding places to see and restaurants to check out...all while sitting outside enjoying the lovely weather while talking to others who were staying at the hotel. We stayed at the Seaport Inn. Excellent location. Apartment S6 has seperate entrance by the pool and private porch and sitting area. We stayed one night. It was quiet and comfortable. We recieved good directions on how to find the key. Everything was well organised. The breakfast is served at Courney's Place in Whitmarsh lane several blocks away.

Value - There are many hotels to choose from on Key West, but at a
cost. The Best Western was a good value. It was clean and easy to get
to. It is a little further from downtown but still only a 10 minute
drive to Duval Street. We visited during the off season so there was
plenty of street parking for $2 an hour off of Duval. Overall, we were

Courteous and helpful staff. Nice breakfast complete with make-your-own waffle machine. Bus service into Key West stops right outside front door of hotel. Spacious and comfortable bedroom. Free WiFi with excellent signal. Really nice, warm pool and nice cocktail bar beside it. Lovely, cute birds frequent the poolside area.

most of them. If you're riding a motorcycle, stay here. They are
extremely accommodating! The breakfast is exactly what you need. Just
enough to get your day started. The beds are great, a/c blasted cold

The room was crystal clean and adorable! I never stayed in a guest
house before. It was a dream come true! Its going to make staying in a

The staff went above and beyond. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. In fact one of the managers noticed at breakfast that my husband did not quite make his waffle properly. With out saying a word the manager made another waffle and came over to the table and exchanged it for him.This clearly was "above and beyond" service. The facility is

The hotel was definately a great value. We walked in to check in and were immediately welcomed by friendly staff who hung beads from our necks and gave us a drink. It really made you feel like you were on vacation. The room was small but clean and the pool was perfect for lounging and having a few drinks. They had breakfast every morning for free which was perfect especially for a family. I even went to their little gym in the morning.

Location was perfect for walking to downtown and all of the festivities. Really enjoyed relaxing by the water after a long night of partying. Drinks and food at the tiki were great as was the service. Would highly recommend the Galleon to anyone staying in Key West. Looking forward to the next visit! -
