My family and I both enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn. We were attending
orientation at u of I and thought the location was perfect!! Staff was
excellent and so helpful, even allowed us to check in early which was a
huge plus!! Rooms and hotel were very clean and well appointed. Also,
rooms were super quiet!! Pool and fitness center were also very

The Hampton Inn was close to the U of Iowa, very good facilities, comfortable beds, and a nice breakfast. It was also helpful to have free Internet/WiFi access and free parking.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious. Minimalistic
decor gave really clean lines. Nice to have a small but deep bath in the
spacious bathroom. -
Friendly staff. Free upgrade upon arrival. I will only stay at hotel Vetro when I travel to Iowa City, best accommodations and value in town.

This hotel seemed to be new. The room quality and beds were great. Bathroom was very small. Fitness room was well equipped but way too hot. -

While checking- in, the friendly desk clerk visited with my chatty 5year
old- The hotel serves cookies in shared hotel space from 5-7pm. This
young realized my kids have been in the car for hours, offered to go in
back and get some warm chocolate chip cookies (& extra so she could

I am a regular customer of the Hearthland Inn. I stay there each time I visit Iowa City. The accomodations are clean and convenient and it's great to have both a mini-fridge and a microwave in the room. The breakfast area is well-stocked and welcoming. The staff and friendly and helpful.
