the room was spacious and clean with a large LCD tv set. Use of synthetic marble on sink and sidetops gave the room a neat and tidy look. Round and big shower head made showering a pleasure. No question that this hotel is tops in value for money. Easy to park..
The room was clean and it was close to the convention center. They did use a air-freshner in our room and it helped. There were a number of ladies staying there that went to the big quilt show in Houston and I did not hear any of them complain about the rooms.tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Large room with sitting area. Well maintained with recent improvements, and proximity to Univ. of Houston and Texas Southern Univ. a major plus to visitors to either University. The rail transportation system will improve the location, once completed.
Close to city and major highways. Room had all the necessary facilities including microwave, refrig, iron and board, hair dryer, pool, cont breakfast. Room was clean and roomy with small couch and desk. Was a good value.
It was close to the convention center, very clean, friendly staff and quiet. The price was affordable. Our room was huge so it was great to gather together after the quilt show.
Thanks for a great stay!.
Within walking distance of downtown (for me) with a simple, comfortable, clean room for a low price. Everything the hotel controlled worked well.
Large room, clean, all facilities and amenities, everything worked, no problems. Got help with taxi and different information, thank you!.
Really great value for what it was - clean, very close to the center, free parking, free wifi, spacious room.
It was a nice room. Clear and big. There were no bugs. It was clean and
the staff were fast and friendly.
The big flat screen in the corner was awesome! I know where we'll be staying from now on in Houston!.
The price, staff were helpful, room was big and clean.
Very economical price for multiple night staying.
Facilies were ok, short drive from downtown.
Cost friendliness of the facility.
the Cleanliness was good.
The location is great!.
Nice bed.
Room.
the big TV.
It is near downtown.
Hot water in shower.
Road construction along entrance/exit of hotel is an inconvenience. Breakfast menu very limited. Wifi generally ok except when it rains because the satellite antenna gets affected. Limited TV and cable channels.
I asked for a non-smoking room and they gave me a smoking one. They were not close to restaurants, but we had a car. They didn't even know where they would be located. We did our own research and located a few.
I would have liked more of a selection for the breakfast, but Denny's was close so no problem.
The location is in a depressed area, and walking to and from downtown might not have been the safest choice. I used cabs for longer trips, which worked well, but I walked to and from the George R. Brown convention center downtown three times, and had two sketchy encounters that made me feel I might have been in danger. Would not have done the same with my children in tow.
The cab drivers said it was a dangerous area..But when I called the
police to ask about it, they said it was right by the University of
Houston (which is true). However, I needed to wear a suit so I never
took the nearby bus. Instead, I took an $8 cab each way to the Hilton
downtown. It was a 5 minute cab ride each way. The bus system is complex
and good. I took it home once during the day for $1.50. I walked a few
blocks in my suit and had no problem.
not the best part of town, hard to get taxi's, no restaurants close by.
Very noisy on Friday night. There must be a party next door.
Not enough supply for breakfast. Poor language skills manager.
The location is bad. Virtually all the cab drivers I used told me that the location is unsafe.
there was a smell that was present in the room from the time I got there to the time I left, I do not know what the source of it was but was uncomfortable.
The shower was dirty and there were cigarette burns in the comforter.
Unsafe environment - door security weak. No Kleenex. Employees hidden behind a locked window in office. Dark external hallways - security concerns. People knocking on my door all hours of the night wanting to provide personal services.
Staff.
I really don't like the bed, it seems not clean and it is really wet....
The staff wasn't kind.
The breakfast was a muffin in a bag.
The neighborhood is not nice.
Too expensive for the kind of hotel.
Musty, mildew-y odor that I had to but air freshener to mask the smell.
Also, the air conditioner did not cool sufficiently to be comfortable in
a city that always has high humidity. The tv channel guide indicated
specific channels that were incorrect because the motel now has Direct.
