  The lodge is a refurbished "Historic Route 66" facility owned and operated by a very friendly Austrian family. It is a nostalgic return to the 50'-70's era coupled with a bit of European flair. The rooms are small by today's standards (but quite adequate) and are spotless, freshly painted and have flat screen cable TV. We stayed there there two different nights on from t - I loved this charming motel, located on historic Route 66. The Austrian owners have lovingly refurbished this property, and it brings back memories of staying in similar motels during my childhood! The "family room," in which we stayed was actually two rooms, with three double beds - perfect for a family. Very clean, with charming wooden furniture reminiscent of the Alps - a reflection of the charming owners. Everyone was so nice; they even provided us with wine glasses for the wine we brought

  The staff was friendly and on top of everything, eg keeping the kitchen area clean and stocked. The rooms were clean and comfortable. - Very good price, with a clean, comfortable room, all the mid level amenities. I love the indoor pool!

  I would recommend this motel just for the perfect breakfast. You get a voucher for three kinds of menu to the enclosed restaurant and can have eggs, bacon, pancakes and fresh coffee. With that price it is unbeatable. The wi-fi is very good too, there is micro, refrigator and coffee maker in every room.
