  Husband and I chose this wonderful place because it was next to Forestiere Gardens and because it was so highly rated by travelers on the internet. After 40+ years of travel, we never plan on a good night's sleep when we stay in motels, even hotels, as noise is always the issue. The grounds had us out and about several times to take in the beauty of spectacular roses, Clivia, azale - OUr stay at the Garden Inn was very nice. It was exceptionlly clean and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. The fresh fruit from the on site gardens was a special treat and delicious. We had been a little concerned about what we would find since it was an independent hotel but the owners were delightful and the breakfasts were fantastic! We drove to Yosemite and spent the day and returned that evening to a clean, quiet, environment. We had our 87 year old parents with us and they enjoye
