  We were upgraded to a king sized bed in a room with a whirlpool tub and gas fireplace. It was a perfect setting for us as we had been hiking all day and we were ready for a comfortable bed and a good soaking! - Staff was the most friendly and helpful of any place I've ever stayed in CO.   The front desk staff and manager were great! As for the room itself it was clean, comfortable and enjoyed the quiet of the area. It was the bomb when the Elk were right by our room and we got to go out and take pictures and see them close up.   We rented one of the two bedroom units and were very happy with our visit. Staff was very helpful and friendly, as were our neighbors. We had one of the rooms that had not been renovated, but it was still clean. Location is great - very close to Estes Park and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Loved the hot tub and HEATED pool - spent a lot of time out there, even though temperatures were in the 60's. - It was an excellent place especially for the price. We were only there for one night so it didn't need to be spacious. We were in town for a wedding and when we traveled to the wedding sight we saw plenty of Elk! We even bought the painting that was on the wall we liked it so much! We live in Virginia but I spent the first 25 years of my life as a Coloradoan and we were very excited to buy a painting with Aspens to add to our Virginia home.
